Ama Dablam's southwest face is hanging glacier which is like the sacred ornament box. These mount first climbers are Barry Bishop, Mike Ward, Wally Romanes, and Mike Gill who was climbed via the southwest ridge in 1961. The Ama Dablam Climbers typically set up three camps along the ridge with camp 3 just below and to the right of the hanging glacier.
