We start our trek from Nayapul and walk along the Modi Rive, then trail passes the ethnic settlements of Hille and Tikhedunga. Poon Hill Trek Itinerary 

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 

You arrive at the airport, where one of our team members will pick you and transfer you to the hotel. You will check in at the hotel and get a small briefing regarding the day program. Later, in the late evening, you will meet with other team members over welcome dinner and stroll on the vibrant streets of Thamel. 

Day 02: Sightseeing and trek preparation 

You wake up and have a delicious breakfast. You will then go on a guided sightseeing tour of UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Swayambhunath, Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. All of these places will show you Nepali art, architecture, and history. In the afternoon, you meet with the trek guide, and he will brief you about the trail. You then arrange all the gears and necessary documents for trekking with your guide. 

Day 03: Kathmandu to drive Pokhara [823m, 8 hrs] 

After breakfast, we will start our scenic drive to Pokhara by tourist bus. Throughout the drive, we will be able to see Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers, terraced fields, and villages with Ganesh and Manaslu peaks. Pokhara is a lakeside tourist paradise with many facilities for trekkers. Pokhara is a place full of a clean environment and natural beauty. 

Day 04: Pokhara to drive Nayapul & trek to Ulleri [2050m,6 hours trek] 

After having breakfast, you take a short scenic drive to Nayapul. From Nayapul, you begin trekking towards Ulleri. The trail goes through lush forests, crossing Bhurungdi Khola on a bridge. Passing by Tikhedhunga, you continue ascending towards Ulleri village. 

Day 05: Ulleri to Ghorepani [2750m, 4-5 hours] 

Leaving Ulleri behind, you ascend through lush forests of rhododendron and small villages to reach Ghorepani village. Ghorepani is a beautiful village surrounded by hills and lovely forests. You get to see stunning views of Annapurna South, Mt. Nilgiri, and many other snow-capped peaks from this village. 

Day 06: Ghorepani to Tadapani with a visit to Poon Hill [2700m, 6-7 hours]

You wake up early in the morning and hike to Poon Hill from where you get to witness gorgeous sunrise along with the western Himalayan mountains. After spending some time at the viewpoint, you drop down to Ghorepani and have breakfast. Further, the trail descends through lush forests and small villages to Tadapani. 

Day 07: Tadapani to Ghandruk [1940m, 3-4 hours] 

A steep descent through dense forests of rhododendron and other wildflowers, you move towards Ghandruk. On the way, you get to see stunning views of snow-capped Himalayan mountains like Mt. Machhapuchhre, Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, etc. You will reach the fine Ghandruk village resided by Gurung. Here, you get to see the daily lifestyle and culture of the Gurung people. 

Day 08: Ghandruk to Pokhara [830m 4 hours trek] & [1-hour drive] 

The trail descends to Nayapul. You trek through the forested path and small villages before reaching Nayapul. From here, you drive back to Pokhara. Spend the night enjoying a gorgeous sunset view over tranquil Fewa Lake and dining in a fine restaurant or cafe. 

Day 09: Drive to Kathmandu [1300m, 8 hrs] 

We leave Pokhara at 7:30 by tourist bus; a scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu will take between 7/8 hrs. It's a 200km distance; we follow through the drive Trishuli River and Marsyangdi River. 

Day 10: Final departure 

You will fly back to your home. One of our team representatives will take you to the airport as per your flight departure time.
